In traditional forced air heating systems hot air rises, the cold air sinks to the floor so your body feels cold at your legs and feet while the higher elevation of air is warm. With a radiant heat system in your floor, the heat starts at the bottom of the room as opposed to forced air systems. By heating from the floor upwards the cold air is pushed to the ceiling and remains there so that the people in the living area are much more comfortable.

Radiant heat systems also provide you with up to 15% more efficiency when it comes to heating your home, so you can save money on your monthly heating bill compared to a traditional forced air system.  Another added benefit is that modern radiant floor heating systems are in the floor which helps to save room in the living area and undeniably make less noise than traditional forced air systems.
