Job Position: Plumbing and Heating Project Estimator

 

Position Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of estimation experience, with strong skills in cost analysis and budget preparation for plumbing and heating projects.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in estimation software.
    • Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, CAD, and Bluebeam.
    • Ability to independently complete quantity take-offs.
    • Strong math and analytical skills for accurate labor and material cost estimation.
    • Knowledge of BC building codes and industry standards.
    • Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Legal Status: Must provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and proof of identification.
  • Certification: Valid ITA certification number is required.
  • Additional Requirement: Candidates must have their own vehicle for site visits and quotations.

We Offer:

  • Hourly Wage: $23-$28 (depending on experience). Good performers can earn up to $32-$35.

Job Position: Journeyman Plumber

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial clients.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and provide effective, lasting solutions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layouts for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with current BC building codes and safety standards.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, providing expert advice and service updates.
  • Collaborate with team members and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Position Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Journeyman Plumber certification with a valid ITA Certificate Number.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional plumbing experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently on installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Possess a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and proof of identification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly wage: $35 – $45, based on experience.
  • Support for recording ITA (Industry Training Authority) hours for apprentices.

Experienced Services Plumber (Full-time/Part-time)

 

Position Requirements:

  • Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in plumbing and heating-related work, with the ability to independently complete installation, repair, and replacement tasks.
  • Driver’s License: Possession of a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Legal Status: Must provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and identification documents.
  • ITA Certificate Number: Must have a valid ITA number.
  • Skills Requirements: Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems, a strong team spirit, and excellent communication skills.

We Offer:

  • Hourly Wage: $26-$32 (based on experience).
  • Assistance in recording ITA apprentice hours for BC plumbing certification.
