AHJ Coordinated Projects — Case Study

The Situation

VIA Plumbing was selected to complete the plumbing scope for a commercial tenant improvement project in the City of Coquitlam. The original bid and project planning were based on the latest engineered drawings submitted by the general contractor to the municipality for permit approval.

During the plumbing rough-in stage, the owner requested an additional mop sink that was not included in the original design — a live scope change that needed sign-off from the Authority Having Jurisdiction without stalling the job site.

Step by step

How VIA Coordinated It

Five stages, same structure throughout — from the original bid to a fully compliant close-out.
